Jabra Halo Stereo Bluetooth headphones
What's your style for stereo--earbuds or earmuffs? I go for the earmuff or earpad approach every time, and Jabra's Halo headphones ($130, as of September 16, 2009) fit well. They're sleek, unobtrusive, and sturdy. And the Halo felt even more comfortable than the Motorola MotoRokr S305 and the LG Electronics HBS-250, which also adopt the earmuff design.

Three Ways to Reduce Your Communications Costs
In San Francisco, where I live, the miserable month of Fogust is nigh. Every August, the fog and wind perpetually blow through town, raising goosebumps on the exposed limbs of unsuspecting (if not astonished) tourists. Elsewhere, most of the U.S.--particularly the East Coast--is trapped in the bell jar of stagnant, humid dog days. In short: Wherever you live, August is the ideal month to get out of Dodge. And if you've got your Internet access strategy figured out, you and your virtual office can stay out of town for an extended absence, while still keeping up with business.
Make sure yours is a WAN with a plan
Now is an excellent time to be reevaluating your WAN strategy. New technologies such as carrier Ethernet and Session Initiation Protocol trunking can help cut costs and increase availability. WAN and application optimization technologies can make better use of existing facilities. And many companies are experiencing a (likely temporary) pause in the unrelenting expansion of branch offices -- making this the perfect time to take a few steps back and revisit the overall networking strategy.
